T03 Two Day Great Glen, Isle of Skye, Isle of Mull and Great Glen Tour - From Fourteen Hours

Scenery along the road to SkyeYou are collected from your Highland Hotel, B&B, the airport or station and we head along the side of Loch Ness stopping at various view points.

After Fort Augustus we take a stunning drive towards the romantic Isle of Skye. En route is some of Scotland's most dramatic scenery including the renowned Five Sisters of Kintail.

Eventually we arrive at one of Scotland's most photographed castles. Eilean Donan where time is provided for a visit.Isle of Skye

We cross the arching Skye Bridge to the Isle of Skye providing opportunities for a picnic lunch on the Sleat peninsula or lunch at the Eilean Iarmain Hotel on Isle Ornsay or at the Clan Donald Centre. Great views of the Cuillins too.

Then two ferry trips as we cross back to the mainland from Armadale to Mallaig and then cross to the Isle of Mull.

Arriving at Fishnish, we drive south to Craignure and accommodation is arranged here normally. Note that accommodation is not included in the price.

The next morning there is ample time to visit Torosay Castle and to partake, one way or return, the  Mull Narrow Gauge Railway. Scenic and great fun too.

After a while on Mull, we take the longer ferry ride from Craignure to Oban. Very scenic, this trip also provides excellent views of the Oban Folly.

Now we journey along the delightful coast road to Fort William, where there is time to take a cable car ride up Aonach Mor. Then more photo opportunities and time for some tea before we return along the Great Glen back to Inverness, taking, where time allows, more scenic back roads.

Although this tour is shown as 14 hours, we are happy to extend this at no extra charge for those who do not mind a later return to Inverness.

It should be noted that ferries can be cancelled in poor weather and in that case we will take alternative routes. Also, during the winter, early spring and late autumn, daylight may curtail some aspects of the tour.

Price: £600 for up to six passengers.
