Let us collect you from
your
Inverness Hotel, the airport or station and
give you a guided tour of the capital of the Highlands.
You'll discover how the capital developed, see the cathedral, castle hill, Cromwell's Tower, the Fairy Hill and Caledonian Canal.
We start the tour at the most convenient place from your accommodation then cross the river so that you can photograph the castle for yourself and see the statue of Jacobite heroine, Flora MacDonald.
Proceeding along the River Ness you will see the Ness Islands and we will tell you of the famous Brahan Seer who prophesied of a cemetery on Tomnahurich Hill.
Next
a chance to photograph the historic Caledonian Canal which cuts the Highlands in
two. After seeing a staircase of locks you cross the river again en route to the
important, but undramatic Cromwell's Tower.
We'll pass under the Kessock Bridge and pass the Inverness Caledonian Thistle soccer ground before briefly seeing the grave of the infamous and dreadful King Duncan. Find out how William Shakespeare got the characters hopelessly, but brilliantly wrong in his play.
We can also build in a visit to Pringle's Woollen Mill for some quality shopping, but this would need an extension to the tour.
If you would like to build in extra features talk to us and we'll provide an exact quote of time and price.
Price: £100 for up to six passengers.
