After collection from your hotel, we cross the Kessock Bridge over the Moray Firth onto the Black Isle.
The northern Moray Coast is steeped in history and we can visit the location where Kenneth MacKenzie, the Brahan Seer, was burned for witchcraft, perhaps also watching dolphins from Chanonry Point.
Next we move on to historic Fortrose and see the picturesque fourteenth remains of the thirteenth century Fortrose Cathedral.
There are also opportunities for a beach walk or a boat trip if the dolphins are elusive.
Finally we visit the eighteenth century town of Cromarty which has a surprisingly hi-tec presentation of a typical eighteenth century trial. Alternatively just visit the shops.
Price: £120 for up to six passengers.
