Eilean Donan Castle, the castle with the bridge

You are collected from your Inverness Hotel, B&B, the airport or station and we head along the side of Loch Ness stopping at various view points. In fact, you see more of the loch on this tour than you do on the dedicated coach tours to the loch.

At Fort Augustus there is time time photograph the locks on the Caledonian Canal before we pass Fort Augustus Abbey on the way to Loch Oich and Invergarry where we take a hilltop drive towards the Skye road.

En route is some of Scotland's most dramatic scenery including the Five Sisters of Kintail. The Five Sisters of Kintail from an Inverness Tour

En route to Eilean Donan we'll make a stop at the Roderick MacKenzie Monument (see pictures at bottom of page) and also the amazing footprints left by Finlay Munro in the early nineteenth century. Some fascinating and true folklore.

Eventually we arrive at one of Scotland's most photographed castles. Eilean Donan where time is provided for a visit. Note that the castle is not open at all times of year, but is always worth seeing for a photograph.

We take a different route back to Loch Ness arriving back in Inverness having experienced some of the best scenery Scotland has to offer.
