A09 All Day Tour from Inverness to John O'Groats and the North of Scotland seeing Falls of Shin, Cromarty and Dornoch Firths, Tongue, Ben Loyal and Ben Hope - Eleven Hours

Coffee Stop at the Falls of ShinWe collect you from your hotel in Inverness and set off over the Moray Firth and across the Black Isle and the attractive causeway over the Cromarty Firth.

At the Dornoch Firth we turn north westwards through attractive farmland and on into the hills making a stop at the Falls of Shin with its "Harrods of the North" shop. Great coffee too! Branching northwards we pass Ben Hope and Ben Loyal, Loch Loyal and some wonderful bog scenery. Eventually we arrive at the coast at Tongue.

Falls of ShinFollowing the coast along the far north of Scotland we visit John O'Groats then down the dramatic east coast road back towards Inverness visiting Dornoch en route.

A great day for those who enjoy the more rugged northern scenery. It should be noted that this is not an activity tour, it is a scenic tour with most of the time spent enjoying the magnificent northern scenery from the car. To include walking and more time out of the car this needs to be part of a two day tour.
