Dunvegan Castle on one of our Skye tours.

You are collected from your Inverness hotel, B&B, the airport or station and we head along the side of Loch Ness stopping at various view points. Eilean Donan Castle on our Skye tour

After Invermoriston we take a stunning drive towards the romantic Isle of Skye. En route is some of Scotland's most dramatic scenery including the renowned Five Sisters of Kintail.

Eventually we arrive at one of Scotland's most photographed castles. Eilean Donan Castle where time is provided for a visit. Other alternatives are available for those who just want a photograph of the castle rather than a visit. Note that the castle is not open in the winter.

We cross the arching Skye bridge to the Isle providing opportunities for a picnic lunch en route. Great views of the Red and Black Cuillins too.

Among the options you can choose is to grab a sandwich and build in extra photostops or take a sit down lunch in the charming Dunvegan or at the castle itself. Dun Beag Broch, Skye

En route to or from Dunvegan we can make a stop at Dun Beag broch which dominates the landscape and is a good example of a partially in tact broch. It dates to around the time of Christ give or take a century or two either way.

Passing through Broadford we return to the Skye bridge then take a hilltop route over to beautiful Loch Carron where the road skirts the loch and then follows the strath to Achnasheen and back to Inverness via Dingwall and the Black Isle or through Mur of Ord and Beauly. You make the choice on the day.

Price: £395 for guide and vehicle - check calendar for how many passengers each guide can carry - 11 hours.  NOT AVAILABLE 16th OCTOBER TO 31st MARCH INCLUSIVE.
